About Dr. Robert E. Belknap

A graduate of Stanford University and UCSF Medical School, Bob Belknap has practiced family medicine in Mill Valley since 1973.

A career that includes serving as Chief of Family Medicine at Marin General Hospital and numerous awards, Dr. Belknap has cared for thousands of patients in Marin County and beyond.

His credentials include:

• Member of the California Medical Association
• Member of the Marin Medical Society
• Staff at Marin General Hospital

Since 1999, Dr. Belknap has cared for the poor and the underserved at the RotaCare Free Clinic in San Rafael, California. His wife of 30 years, Irene Belknap, is an accomplished artist whose works you’ll see throughout the office.

When he’s not seeing patients, you may find Bob at the symphony or opera, gardening at home, hiking the trails of Marin Country, or absorbed in a good book.
